Funds for equipment and uniforms are obtained through registration fees, fundraisers, as well as private and corporate donations. Olive Township may become a member.The Association is a non-profit organization, which is independent of the township and school system. Marauders Football Association is a youth football organization, operated by volunteer parents, coaches, and interested adults. In addition to training, children will be taught the basics and fundamentals of the offense, defense, and special teams that may be used by the High School coaching staff. High School head football coach, Coach O’Connor has a very involved, hands on training program that begins with the younger leagues on all levels, “Junior Marauder feeder program” and prepares the children for high school.
The Association is determined to teach poise and character to all those involved as it relates to activities occurring on or off the field of play, and to build healthier bodies and stronger minds of our youth, at the same time teaching them about fair play and sportsmanship. The purpose, for which this Association has been formed, is to develop and promote community interest in the sport of football to provide opportunities for participation in organized football to all children, and to provide training in football fundamentals.Īdditionally, it is the intent of the Association to prepare its players to be ready to play football for Mount Olive High School. It is the intent and purpose to instill in the players, parents, coaches and directors the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect.
